Recording & mix engineer · Artist · Music mentor
Benny Flowz
Rap · Grime · D&B · R&B
Benny Flowz has been part of Silkcrayon since 2023. A recording and mix engineer behind dozens of rising Welsh artists, he works primarily across rap, grime, drum and bass and R&B, helping artists take their music from the first vocal take through to the finished mix.
A rapper and singer/songwriter himself, Benny brings experience from both sides of the microphone. He understands the work that goes into writing a verse, finding a delivery and capturing a performance that feels true to the artist.
The first Welsh artist to appear on BBC’s The Rap Game, Benny combines his own experience as a recording artist with his work as an engineer and music mentor. At Silkcrayon, that means supporting artists with both the sound of their records and their confidence in the studio.
